About Us

Ms. Flower’s Interpreters & Translators is a family owned-business grown in the desert of Eastern Washington state. Flor Garza Gutierrez, also known as Ms. Flower, the owner, started her career as a Spanish interpreter who traveled throughout the Oregon and Washington area for more than 20 years. During her experience, Flower recognized the growing need for interpreters in the region that was rapidly growing more diverse by the year. She began planning for the day she’d own and manage a business to service this increasing demand.

Established in 2007, Flower started with just 10 private companies. Now, she works with over 115 companies offering service in 56 languages. The company has also won contracts with Washington State’s Department of Social and Health Services, allowing the interpreting agency to bloom even more.

In July of 2017, Flower purchased Language, Passport & Travel Solutions from local owners. The already thriving company has been taken to the next level thanks to Flower’s experience in the industry. Between the two agencies, owner Ms. Flower now has approximately 300 interpreters servicing most of Washington and Eastern Oregon and is expanding nationwide. To give back to the community, Ms. Flower’s Interpreters & Translators also does volunteer work by volunteering herself with co-interpreters to service children with special needs in Costa Rica.

With now an impressive 3 decades of experience in the interpreting industry, Ms. Flower has brought on Chelsi and Michael Traeger, really making it a family owned business. She build her company on the belief that her client’s needs are of the utmost importance. That commitment extends to the entire team of interpreters, in and out of the office. As a result, a large percentage of the business are repeat clients, patients, and referrals.

The small agency is family owned and operated

Testimonials

Ms. Flower went above and beyond what I could have asked for. Ms. Flower not only translated my fiance's birth certificate, but mailed in the translation to my lawyer while I was out of state. Everything was done correctly and professionally. I would recommend her to anyone that needs something translated!!! Thank You!
